Crack open a brand new page of your diary, everyone's favourite Leicestershire schoolboy is back with his unique observations of the world in this brand new musical adaptation of the world's most embarrassing teenage years. Based on the first installment of Sue Townsend's best-selling series following the chronically misunderstood intellectual, expect a nostalgic trip back to the early 80's where Adrian navigates the highs and lows of puberty with his trademark wit and naivety.

After a successful run out at Leicester's Curve theatre in 2015, the Menier Chocolate Factory will welcome this new production directed by Luke Sheppard. Although Adrian has been subject to many adaptations throughout the years, this is the first time his woes will be transmitted in song, something we're very excited about seeing.

JUST MY LUCK - THE STORY OF ADRIAN MOLE

Living in Ashby-De-La-Zouch in 1981, Adrian Mole is not like other boys. Using his diaries to narrate his life, we learn of his estranged, self-obsessed parents, his best friend Nigel and his battle against school boy Barry whilst trying to carve out a place for himself and win the heart of the godess Pandora... Ripe with references from Thatcher to Charles and Diana, Adrian Mole is a marvellously funny reflection of the times and a very realistic portrait of the cringemaking journey that is being a teenager!
