Miss Saigon
a musical classic that more than lives up to the success of its predecessor.

A superbly slick, powerfully acted and splendidly sung revival.

Impeccable singing and striking design work hand-in-hand to bring the hardship and passion of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical to life in this powerful new production by Cameron Mackintosh. Created by the team behind the international phenomenon Les Miserables, Miss Saigon first premiered in London more than three decades ago and now returns to the West End for a strictly limited eight-month season at the Prince Edward Theatre from May 2027!
More than a decade since it was last seen in London, this acclaimed revival marks a homecoming to the very theatre where the musical previously played. Re-imagined for a modern audience, the production refocuses the story through a grittier 1970s dramatic and musical lens, while retaining the epic scale and emotional force of the story.
Set during the collapse of Saigon, the musical follows 17-year-old Kim, a vulnerable young woman forced to work in a bar run by the Engineer. There, she meets Chris, an American GI, and the two fall in love amid the chaos and uncertainty of war. Their bond offers a brief refuge from the violence surrounding them, and they pledge themselves to one another.
But when Saigon falls, Chris is forced to flee Vietnam, leaving Kim behind. Years pass, and Kim clings to the hope that Chris will return - unaware that he has built a new life in America. As past and present collide, both are forced to confront impossible choices. Will love be enough to overcome the scars of war, or will their shared past be lost forever?
Performed in 33 countries, across 378 cities, and winner of 75 major awards worldwide, Miss Saigon returns to London as emotionally devastating as ever.
