Why see The Birds & The Bees?
Bee-rand new play
Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer swaps the streets of London for a less than idyllic life on an East Anglican farm in this new play by Canadian playwright Mark Crawford, with additional material by James McDermott.
Alongside Michael Starke as her neighbor, the unlucky sugar-beet farmer Earl, Lederer is Sarah, an apiarist whose dead bees mirror her love life. With her daughter also feeling the pinch in her marriage and at her Turkey Farm, can this trio full themselves out of their funk and get their mojo back? Perhaps the arrival of young student Ben will get these three buzzing once more!
