Why see The End of History?
Newbury 1997.
From the minds behind Harry Potter and the Cursed Child comes a brand new domestic drama, where the intricacies of familial relationships come under the microscope. Playwright Jack Thorne leaves the world of Hogwarts magic behind as he transports us to Newbury, 1997 where Sal (Leslie Sharp) and David (David Morrisey) are preparing for a family meal.
But this is no ordinary family occasion, Sal and David's eldest son Carl is bringing his girlfriend home for the first time, their daughter Polly is traveling back from Cambridge University for the occasion and youngest son Tom will hopefully be home from detention in time. As the family comes together once again, Sal and David become more interested in imparting left-wing ideology onto their offspring, with the trio named after their favorite socialists, will the children come up short?
