Two hilarious one-act gems come together in a chaotic night of operatic comedy celebrating the legendary Gilbert and Sullivan, coming to London's Coliseum in March 2027! Focused around the early and late stages of a couple's romantic journey doomed to failure, Trial By Jury and The Zoo make a perfect double bill of brilliantly scored absurdity.
First up is Sullivan's early masterpiece, The Zoo: the early stages of a whirlwind romance. Two young people find themselves thrust into a ridiculous comedy of errors involving mistaken identities and bizarre secrets, and somehow tumble out of it engaged to each other. This is followed up by Trail By Jury: Gilbert and Sullivan finally joining forces to create the legal aftermath of the lovers' disastrous falling out. Angelina believes Edwin has preached the marriage contract - and she's coming for all he's got.
