James Freedman: Man of Steal at Trafalgar Studios 1

Why see James Freedman: Man of Steal?

THE TRICKSTER AND CRIME EXPERT RETURNS TO THE MENIER

Watch your belongings and keep your wits about you as James Freedman, the self-confessed stealth crime expert returns to the West End following a stint at the Menier Chocolate Factory last year, for a limited time only! Praised by tricksters Derren Brown (what an endorsement!) and Dynamo themselves, James will give you a crafty insight into the art of thievery, through his studies of spent studying hustlers, street criminals and con-men. Not only will he be stealing the limelight (sorry), he will be demonstrating the tricks that have been perfected by those naughty criminals, and give you advice on how to avoid being a victim.

So how did a man become involved in such a career?

When a young James was targeted by muggers in South London, he was inspired to follow a path into criminology and crime pyschology; he took his studies further after watching child pickpockets at work on the streets of Paris. Nowadays he is sought after for his advice and skills by police forces the world over, and prides himself on helping to cut down crime in different countries.

This persuasive trickster is so darn talented, he is the only man to have picked the pockets of the Mayor of London, the Chancellor, the Governor of the Bank of England and Alan Carr. He has also coached the cast of Les Mis on the art of sleight by hand to perform on the stage. That said, he has insured those pinching palmies for £1 million....
