Why See Showstopper! The Improvised Musical?
A NEW MUSICAL EVERY PERFORMANCE!
How does one theatre company put on 80 different musicals during a 10-week West End run? The answer is simple - step forward Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. Every performance will see audience suggestions being transformed into an all-singing and dancing musical spectacle on the very spot, making each show truly a unique experience! This will be the show's first West End engagement, landing at the Apollo Theatre in late September until end November.
Creating a real musical from scratch with a new story, character, music and choreography every night is no mean feat, but these guys have had huge success in the past with their previous hits including Emotional Baggage, a First Class Heathrow Airport-set romance, and Sweeney Cod, the tale of a fish shop owner with music that is somewhat reminiscent of Kander and Ebb's musicals.
This new show is part of a new revolution in West End theatre that has seen the likes of The Play That Goes Wrong take audiences by storm, and Austentatious An Improvised Jane Austen Novel.
