A Thrilling Shakespearean Puppet Show

Experience Shakespeare as you've never seen it before! The thrilling twists and turns of one of the bard's most famous tragedies is recreated with paper and puppetry in The Paper Cinema's Macbeth. Using illustrations, projections and a live score, a silent-film atmosphere is conjured while the London-based company recreates the complex characters and astonishing battles that unfold in the windy Scottish moors.

On their way back to their King after battle, generals Macbeth and Banquo encounter three twisted crones. When the witches prophesy that Macbeth will rise in the ranks of Scottish nobility, eventually ascending to the throne, a series of betrayals and bloody murders is triggered. With the fearsome Lady Macbeth behind many a puppet string, Macbeth must face his fate.
