Why See The Syndicate?
It's a winner
Based on the hit BBC show, enjoy all the highs and lows of Kay Mellor's cautionary comedy drama in this all-new stage production. Marking the legendary writer's final theatrical work and directed by Gaynor Faye, don't miss the chance to relive the life-changing events of this entertaining tale as it comes to you on tour!
Kay Mellor
With her work characterised by themes of love, friendship, body issues, and motherhood explored through witty dialogue, the late Kay Mellow began her career in 1995 with the now iconic drama Band of Gold. Follow-ups included Fat Friends, Playing The Field, Girlfriends and many more.
What is the story?
Following five supermarket workers who can't believe their luck when their syndicate lottery numbers come up, The Syndicate details the fallout from their win in typical Mellor style. Funny and moving, watch as they grapple with the consequences of their newfound wealth.
