Why See Black Men Walking?

PlaysOff West End

Revolutionising British Theatre.

On the first Saturday of every month Thomas, Matthew, and Richard walk. However, on one strange Saturday out on the Peaks, their walk takes a different turn. Finding themselves walking back through time before they can move forward, they start thinking maybe they should have cancelled.

In collaboration with the Royal Court "Black Men Walking" is directed by Dawn Walton, the Artistic Director of Eclipse Theatre. This collaboration is part of Revolution Mix, a programme dedicated to creating and producing work that is set to enrich the canon of British theatre, with over 500 years of Black history as a starting point.

This production is dedicated to the Black Men's Walking Group.
