Anthony Neilson returns to the Royal Court with new play

Why See The Prudes?

PlaysOff West End

A brand new play for 2018

The ever-experimental playwright, Anthony Neilson, the writer that brought you Unreachable (2016) returns to the Royal Court in 2018 with his brand new work The Prudes. The audience is invited on a journey with one, sexless couple as they try and reignite their passion for each other.

Their relationship is passion-less, sex-less and entirely spark-less, but this couple aren't ready to give up just yet. In one last ditch attempt they strive to try and find that passion that once consumed them. But, everything has changed, not just for this couple but for the world.
