It's a fitting, sumptuous and beautifully realised production to bring the five years of the trilogy to its culmination and well deserved the enthusiasm and standing ovation with which it was greeted.

BalletLORENT's Stunning Adaptation Of Rumpelstiltskin

The award-winning team team who first brought us the dynamic dance retelling of fairytales Rapunzel and Snow White is turning their creative eye to another tale in the Brothers Grimm canon. Leading Newcastle Upon Tyne contemporary dance company BalletLORENT will perform a stunning reimagining of Rumpelstiltskin, transporting the audience to a magical world where wool is spun into gold thanks to the kinetic alchemy of dance.

Choreographed by company founder Liv Lorent and adapted by iconic Scottish playwright Carol Ann Duffy, the production features a score by BAFTA nominated English composer Murray Gold, costumes by Emmy winner Michele Clapton and narration by Game Of Thrones actor Ben Crompton.
