The revival of Matthew Bourne's adaptation of Bizet's sizzling masterpiece Carmen, renamed The Car Man, is heading out on a UK tour! Aptly so, as Bourne transplants the action from 19th-century Spain to a 1950s American garage diner. First seen in 2000, The Car Man is one of Bourne and New Adventures' most popular works, delivering a dramatic and sumptuous retelling of the story of the infamous femme fatale, featuring dazzling choreography and a blazing score.

Matthew Bourne's Olivier award-winning The Red Shoes makes a welcome return to Sadler's Wells this Christmas. Based on the 1948 Powell and Pressburger film, which is in turn based on the tragic fairytale by Hans Christian Anderson, The Red Shoes is the story of a talented young dancer who finds herself torn between love and her career, with heartbreaking consequences.
