Why See Police Cops: The Musical?
EIGHTIES 'MURICA
Back by popular demand! Police Cops: The Musical triumphantly returns to the Southwark Playhouse Elephant in March 2024! Created by Zachary Hunt, Tom Roe, and Nathan Parkinson, the highly-rated comedy features music composed by Ben Adams, whose previous work includes Eugenious! and a Brit Award win with his own band A1.
The story follows newcomer to the force Jimmy Johnson in the 1980s, who journeys from the tough neighbourhoods of America to down across the border in Mexico. Joining forces with a rebellious colleague and a bigoted police chief, what lies in store when his path leads to jaded retired officer Juanita Gonzalez?
