Re-live the most exciting decades of music
It was a time of teddy boys, teenagers and copious amounts of hair gel. The 1950s and 60s witnessed the rise of rock 'n' roll, a musical revolution which would change not only the face of popular music forever but also society itself! This period of upheaval is the setting for Bobby Socks and Blue Jeans, a jukebox musical that features 40 smash hits of the time, performed by some of the most talented performers around!
Bobby Socks has been a roaring success wherever it's toured and now it's headed to the London Palladium. The show is fronted by creator and producer Kytsun Wolfe. Cliff Richard impersonator extraordinaire, Wolfe has been performing since he was 16, and alongside his spot-on Cliff act (some say he's better than the real thing) he also does a mean Elvis, Chuck Berry and Ricky Nelson. For Bobby Socks and Blue Jeans he's backed by regular touring partners The Five Pennies and girl-group The Ponytails in a cavalcade of golden pop moments.
At over two hours long, Bobby Socks is a terrific value-for-money roll call of rock 'n' roll's biggest names, that's guaranteed to have you jiving in the aisles! Tracks that you can expect to hear on the night include Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Bobby's Girl, Leader of the Pack, I Only Want to Be With You, Living Doll, Stranger on the Shore, It Might as Well Rain Until Tomorrow, Only the Lonely and Baby I Love You.
