BRILLIANT!

This show provided a really entertaining night out. Brilliant , funny, light entertainment. These talented performers deserved the standing ovation they received. Well done to all.

MOST FABULOUS NEW SHOW! HURRAH FOR HARRY HILL AND ALL!

So BRILLIANT! I was just not expecting the level of slickness , professionalism and entertainment. Laughed so much. Really EVERYONE so talented and who knew Nigel Harman could sing like that! I wonder if Cheryl Cole has seen it yet - whoops!, As for Liam O'Deary - just brilliant. Seen it yet Dermot? EVERYONE go and see it. What a night out.

GREAT EVENING

I went not really knowing what to think and I really enjoyed my evening ! Not only was this funny ( it has moments of brilliance) the set was fantastic and it looked and sounded great ! I can't sing had the audiance cheering . It really is a great moment . I would highly recomend this show . It's not a glitzzy west end musical but if you want a good laugh this is one of the funniest shows around .

LOVED IT

It's bonkers but very entertaining. It kept my attention throughout as there is so much going on and a large cast. Extremely funny with some great jokes that just keep coming and the set is amazing. A great night out. I felt disappointed when it came to an end!

EXCELLENT

Was at the preview last night and thought it was excellent. My favourite was Louis who every time he appeared made me cry with laughter. The voice of the female lead was brilliant.

GET A TICKET

Fast paced and very entertaining. I probably missed some of the jokes so will need to go again. If you've seen Book of Mormon then this is the ticket to get.

SHOCKINGLY BAD TO THE POINT IT'S ALMOST FUNNY… BUT NOT

The story is so desperately far fetched and full of holes that it just falls flat. There are some funny lines in it but most of the jokes and lines are so incredibly obvious and lacking all finesse. Book of Mormon it definitely isn't. The set struggles to cope with certain scenes and looks cheap, the singing is mediocre with some numbers absolute cringers, and 1 or 2 complete bores. Only song that stands out is "I can't sing" which was actually good and got the biggest applause. Best thing of the entire show was the dog which was brilliantly done by the puppeteer/singer. I know these are only the previews but the show just doesn't gel at all and feels awkward at times. There were 7 of us watching the show and all felt the same way. At the end there was no standing ovation or even an encore so this show is not going to last very long and rightly so.

Don't go looking for a deep and philosophical critique of talent show culture, but enjoy it for what it ashamedly sets out to be

There are so many entertaining characters that it's impossible to give them all credit, although watch out for Cynthia Erivo as the next big star in West End theatre.
