the voice of hollywood comes back to life

October marks the 50th anniversary of the famous concert starring Hollywood ingenue Judy Garland. In this highly anticipated multi-media concert, you will hear Garland perform her greatest hits such as Over The Rainbow and Come Rain or Shine through archive footage, but accompanied by the London Palladium's fabulous live orchestra. Learn more about the woman behind the pixie-like exterior, from her great triumphs through to her lowest points, ultimately culminating in a recreation of her 1966 concert with her daughter Liza Minnelli.

One of the biggest Hollywood studio icons, Garland's legacy is one of talented comedy, powerful singing, and of personal tragedy behind the scenes. In this celebration of her talents, we will also bre treated to never-before-seen footage of her family life, as well as a foyer exhibition of her most memorable costumes, outfits and Judy memorabilia. The evening will be presented by BBC Radio Two's Leo Green.
