FANTASTIC - DO NOT MISS IT!

I watched the show on its second night and it was fantastic. With only a small cast and a not so grand theatre, it is top of my list for theatre visits. Entertaining, funny, sad, shocking and outrageous. Diana Vickers is amazing, but the real star of the show is Lesley Sharp. She is simply pure genius playing what must be the part of a lifetime. Do not miss it!

FANTASTIC - DIANA VICKERS WAS BRILLIANT!

Took my daughter and others to the matinee, very enjoyable play, great cast and brilliant set. The star of the show for my party was without a doubt DIANA VICKERS, her voice is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, she exceeded our (already high) expectations and her acting appears so natural. The only low point for me was Lesley Sharpe’s accent which drifted somewhat (Cornish, Wiltshire, Lancashire) but the character she played was brilliant and she delivered it very well.

A MUST SEE!

We thought the play was really good at first but really stepped up five gears when Diana Vickers started singing. Her voice was fabulous, we knew she was good but it was a real surprise just how good she was. Leslie Sharpe is a legend and an amazing actress and delivered a hugely impressive and powerful performance. We would definitely recommend it! Lisa and Nathan x

LV LIVES AGAIN.....

I was at the first Saturday matinee performance and was really looking forward to seeing Diana on stage. I well remember the original production of Little Voice with Jane Horrocks and the later movie version. A lot to live up to... Dianas unique voice and gamin quality are ideal for the part of LV however would she be able to present a performance as powerful as Janes? In the first act she shows us her vulnerability and against the towering performance by Leslie Sharp she manages to hold her place on the stage, indeed her stillness and quietude at times even succeed in drawing the viewers attention away from the rage of Leslie as Mari Hoff. Then comes the second act and the nightclub scene where suddenly Diana is transformed from the fragile girl we are all used to watching to a real star. Her impersonations particularly of Piaf and Bassey are a towering performance. Her rendition of the song which closes the play brought tears to my eyes and I am sure to many in the audience.

FANTASTIC

This play drew us in from the first minute and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lesley Sharp and Mark Warren were fantastic as ever but Diana Vickers was an absolute joy to watch and her voice made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Whatever is said about reality shows we need to be thankful that they brought this little gem into our world and are sure that this is just the beginning of a long and successful career for Diana.

LITTLE VOICE

I attended the show on saturday 9th and thought it was absolutely brilliant. Lesley sharp was on top form, hilarious throughout, marc warren was exceptional, and Diana Vickers...she was amazing. For this to be her debut in theatre, you never would have guessed. She played the part to perfection and when she sang it truly was a wonderful experience. Well done to all of the cast and thank you for a great night at the Vaudeville!

LITTLE VOICE

Great play, well acted by all.Lovely theatre, small and intimate but with plenty of room. Great to see Diana taking to the stage with her unique voice, I thought she did very well in what is probably her first acting role. Hope it runs and runs

A NOT SO LITTLE VOICE! DIANA WAS FANTASTIC!

Go and buy your ticket for Little voice NOW! I loved everything about this show - from the set which drummed home the idea of a divided family by literally dividing the stage to Diana Vickers' amazing singing which completely took me by surprise! She shone through as LV - I wondered whether her voice would be strong enough to carry off all those impersonations but she blew me away! When she first started singing - I genuinely couldn't tell the difference between the record that had just been playing and her voice! The song Mark Owen wrote at the end of the play brought me to tears. The only low point for me was Lesley Sharpe's dodgy Lancashire accent which fell away at times - however her character was very believable and her last speech was like a poem, she delivered it so well.

BRILLIANT SHOW

Thoroughly enjoyed this, Diana Vickers was a revelation! Her voice was amazing, and she's a natural actress. Only problem for me was Lesley Sharp's accent which was all over the place, shame as she was otherwise brilliant!

COMEDY OR TRAGEDY?

This production could not decide between high camp comedy or tragedy. Diana Vickers was excellent, the rest of the cast struggled to make something of this schizophrenic production. A tale of grief may have comic moments but is not high comedy!
