Get ready for a highly uncomfortable night in the theatre as horror aficionados Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton return to tread the boards in this brand-new play, coming to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre in January 2025.
Titled 'Inside No 9 - Stage/Fright' the new venture will see the pair mine their award-winning
BBC TV series to create an arresting stage show. While the show is still in development, Pemberton summed it up as: "We are currently writing the script even as it goes on sale, but we are certain there will be plenty of new material and surprises for fans and new-comers alike. There'll be something old, something new, something butchered and something...BOO"
Old Vic Theatre, Jan 21 - Mar 29, 2025
Ella Hickson's adaption of Oedipus is coming to The Old Vic in 2025, starring Academy Award winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, No Time To Die) and Olivier Award winner Indira Varma (Game of Thrones). This Greek classic is sure to have you gripped, with co-director Matthew Warchus noting: "Sophocles' play, [is] arguably the best-plotted tale ever".
Bridge Theatre, Feb 10 - May 10, 2025
In a promotion from Viscount Bridgerton to the King of England, Jonathan Bailey returns to the stage in early 2025 in Nick Hytner's newest production for The Bridge Theatre. Bailey will star as the titular monarch in Richard II, the first of Shakespeare's tetralogy of plays about the wars of succession during the Middle Ages, otherwise known as the 'Henriad'.

The Royal Shakespeare Company and Joe Hishaishi's multi-Olivier Award-winning My Neighbour Totoro is returning to the West End stage in March 2025! Combining the Ghibli joy, Hishaishi's glorious score, puppetry and more than a little bit of magic, this spectacular show is adapted from Hayao Miyazaki's film by playwright Tom Morton-Smith, with puppets from Basil Twist and direction from triple Oliver award winner Phelim McDermott.
