First Look: Alicia Vikander, Joe Alwyn and Andrew Lincoln In The Lady from the Sea

Kevin, September 18th, 2025

Let’s dive in, shall we?

We've got our very first glimpse of The Lady from the Sea, and it's already looking like one of autumn's must-sees. Starring Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander and everyone's favorite zombie-fighter-turned-romantic lead Andrew Lincoln, the production reimagines Henrik Ibsen's classic through the lens of writer and director Simon Stone.

The story follows Ellida (Vikander), a woman torn between the safe but stifling life she's built with her doctor husband Edward (Lincoln), and the intoxicating pull of a past love who suddenly resurfaces. It's part romance, part psychological thriller, and very much about the choices that shape our lives.
