Why see Romans: A Novel?

A Man Of Many Identities

Step into a world where survival isn't a choice, it's a mindset! Award-winning writer Alice Birch brings 'Romans: A Novel' to the Almeida Theatre this September! Directed by former Royal Court Associate Director Sam Pritchard and starring Olivier Award winner Kyle Soller, this production dives deep into the fractured lives of men as they navigate through brotherhood.

What's The Story?

A man of many identities - once a motherless child, then a target of bullies. He longs for adventure, conquers foreign lands. He is more than just a man: he is a brother, a father, a wartime soldier, and the head of a cult. At 4am, he celebrates his book launch with champagne. At 4am, he's in the gym lifting weights. He records podcasts. He spends his days living like a badger...
