What is the plot?

A dazzling portrait of Thatcher-era Britain at its most intoxicating and turbulent, The Line of Beauty follows Nick Guest as he enters the glittering world of wealth and influence through the Notting Hill home of his university friend Toby. Nick is mesmerized by the privilege surrounding himyet beneath the surface of elegance and excess lurk hidden tensions, secrets, and betrayals that threaten to upend his idyllic existence.
