The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals
StarKid return to West End with classic horror comedy next year

A superb parody of musical tropes while still being a love letter to a much loved (and maligned by some) genre of theater

StarKid return to West End with classic horror comedy next year
Beloved online theatrical giant - and creator of countless iconic musicals - StarKid is returning to the West End next year, with a special run of one of their classics! Focusing on a small town where an alien invasion is causing the populace to break spontaneously into song, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals is StarKid at their creative, irreverent best.
Paul Matthews is a thoroughly ordinary guy. With one particular exception - he really doesn't like musicals. Hates them. So you can imagine his horror when, following the arrival of a strange meteorite, his entire town has started compulsively breaking into song. Banding together with some uninfected work colleagues, and his secret crush Emma, Paul must discover the source of this mysterious alien affliction - before it threatens to take him and his friends, too. Show tunes have never been so deadly.
