Dystopian Black Mirror-Esque Theatre

Winner of the Tony Craze Award 2025 (previously the Soho Young Writers’ Award), Chris Fung (The Society for New Cuisine) brings this new theatrical thriller to Bush Theatre from November. Global Majority is billed as a meeting point between the power-hunger satire of Succession and the dystopian speculative fiction of Black Mirror, with dark socio-political critique on the potential price paid for absolute ambition. Directed by Rupert Hands (End of the Rainbow), this is set to be one of the season's most searing new stage works.

What Is The Story?

Brian Tran is in a job interview. A high stakes one. An interview for a position that promises unprecedented world leadership. But what begins as a corporate evaluation rapidly devolves into a psychological gauntlet. As the tests become more and more sadistic, Brian must confront the price of influence and what parts of himself he is willing to destroy to reach the top.
