Family, identity and the aftermath of loss are the themes at play in My Father's Fable at the Bush Theatre, created by award-winning playwright and actor Faith Omole. The story follows Peace, who, in the wake of her father's death, receives an unexpected message from Bolu - her half-brother in Nigeria who she never knew about. The revelation sets off a chain of events that forces Peace to navigate the complex dynamics of her fractured family.
After bringing Bolu to England, his motives begin to come into question and, as Peace grapples with these uncertainties, she must confront the reality that the things she's searching for might end up unravelling her already fragile world. Directed by Rebekah Murrell, My Father's Fable is a brought to life by a stellar cast, including BAFTA-winning actor Rakie Ayola.
