Sister Act is the story of nightclub singer Deloris, who is forced to hide out in a convent after she witnesses a murder. Initially, she and the nuns don't exactly see eye to eye, but when Deloris takes charge of the convent's choir, discarding the tired hymn book for some rip-roaring gospel, it's apparent each have a lot to teach the other.
