Award-winning adult-panto company He’s Behind You! returns this festive season with another gloriously unfiltered spectacle in Cinderella: Buttons Undone! Written by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, with an original score by Bradfield, don’t expect the panto you know already; in this one the naughtiness is dialled up to ten and there’ll be scandal, satire and humour that strips away family-friendly fluff in favor of pure, unadulterated hilarity. 

What Is The Story?

Think you know the story of Cinderella? Think again. Cinderella: Buttons Undone! takes the classic rags-to-riches tale and flips it into a wickedly funny, filthy deconstruction of the fairytale we all grew up with. Hotel worker Cindy lives with her gangland step-mum Ida Bigschitt and siblings Bentley and Mercedes. When sexy tennis player Ivan Yassandvich hits the town in search of a wife, Cindy sees her opportunity to escape… but all begins to fall apart when her best mate Buttons pips her to Ivan’s bedpost instead! The scene is set for a hilarious Christmas panto romp, strictly for grown ups!
