The Traitors

Faithful Or Traitor? The Choice Is Yours!
Why see The Traitors?
Trust no one. Watch everyone.
Fans of the BAFTA- and Emmy-winning TV show The Traitors, take a seat at the round table... and try not to get murdered before the interval! The Traitors stage adaptation is officially coming to London's Gillian Lynne Theatre in 2027. You no longer need to watch the action from your sofa, as you can see the deception unfold live on stage.
Directed by National Theatre Deputy Artistic Director Robert Hastie, The Traitors - Acts of Betrayal uses a live theatre setting, with the audience as witnesses (or even accomplices). Expect twists that couldn't exist on screen, and leave the theatre questioning your own instincts - and possibly your plus one.
What will it be: Faithful or Traitor?
How does The Traitors - Acts of Betrayal Work?
Essentially, it's five different plays with the same starting point. A different version is performed each weekday, resulting in five interconnected stories that can each be enjoyed on their own or experienced together as alternative versions of the same events. Think of it as your favourite video game but with five different possible endings.
Each performance begins with the same cast, characters, and premise. As different characters become Traitors or are eliminated, the story branches in a new direction, leading to different alliances and betrayals. Saturday performances add an audience participation element that helps determine who becomes a Traitor, meaning no two Saturday shows are guaranteed to be the same.
About The Traitors
Hosted by the iconic Claudia Winkleman and watched by millions, the TV phenomenon follows a simple format: each night, the Traitors secretly "murder" one of the Faithful, while the remaining group gathers at the round table to decide who to "banish." As players are eliminated, the Faithful must stay sharp and uncover all the Traitors in time.
One of the most acclaimed and popular shows in the British TV canon, the celebrity edition of The Traitors became the most-watched UK television programme of 2025.
