Tony nominee Jamie Armitage brings spine-tingling new play to Hampstead Theatre this winter
Written and directed by Tony Award nominee Jamie Armitage (SIX The Musical), this pioneering new play comes to Hampstead Theatre's Downstairs space this December. Making ingenious use of headphones and cutting-edge sound technology, A Ghost In Your Ear promises to use all the senses to bring a terrifying experience to its audiences. Be warned - things could get very frightening.
A small recording studio. A single actor. And a ghost story that creeps into your senses. As the actor steps into the booth to record an audiobook, the audience listen in closely with specially designed headphones. But not every sound seems to be coming from the actor - and the story seems to be breaking out of its confines and becoming terrifyingly real... Making use of thrilling sound technology created in collaboration with Ben and Max Ringham, A Ghost In Your Ear takes theatrical horror to a whole new level.
