Sex With Strangers

Laura Eason brings her dark sex drama to London!
Why see Sex With Strangers?
Starring Emilia Fox and Theo James in his Hampstead debut
Two leading British lights of television and film star together in a risque British premiere of Laura Eason's Off-Broadway play, Sex With Strangers. Emilia Fox returns to the Hampstead Theatre following her acclaimed 2014 turn in Rapture, Blister, Burn opposite Divergent star Theo James. Two writers who find themselves stranded at a snowed-in motel bond over their different approaches to their craft. Alone with their desires and their WiFi, they discover a fierce attraction to each other, and that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The Off-Broadway production starred Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn as Olivia and Into The Woods' Billy Magnusson as Ethan.
Two writers reaching the zenith of their careers find themselves yearning for what the other has. She, a novelist whose work is largely unsung; he a blogger who is followed by thousands on social media with a blog that has been optioned by a Hollywood studio. Despite both being successful, attractive and ambitious, they both want the success of the other, finding attraction in their differences.
A writer on Netflix's Emmy Award-winning series House Of Cards, Eason's other stage works include new adaptations of Around the World in 80 Days and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and When the Messenger is Hot.
