What's The Story?

J. Edgar Hoover spent nearly 50 years as Director of the FBI, building an empire on secrets, surveillance and power. But while he was busy collecting everyone else's dirty laundry, he was keeping a few explosive secrets of his own. Behind the tough public image was a hidden private life, a lifelong relationship with deputy Clyde Tolson and a man determined to keep his own story out of the headlines.
