Why see Dracula?

One-Person Adaptation

On Sale Soon

Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) stars in a new and wholly unique production of Bram Stoker's classic horror story Dracula, directed by Kip Williams. Following on from the Australian writer and director's award winning, Tony-nominated one-performer adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Grey for Sydney Theatre Company, this version of Dracula will similarly see Erivo as a solo performer taking on all 23 roles in the story. Breathing fresh life into a tale that has spooked the world for centuries, Williams is re-joined by the Olivier-winning Marg Howell (design), Clemence Williams (music) and Nick Schlieper (lighting).

Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania to meet the mysterious Count Dracula at his castle, intending to help him buy a house in London. Untold horrors stalk Harker as the story unfolds, endangering his loved ones and threatening England as the Count follows him home with only one thing on his mind - blood!
