Sherlock star Martin Freeman teams up with Green Wing's Tamsin Grieg for this brand new comedy about the Labour Party and its changing fortunes from Kinnock to Corbyn. Freeman is MP David Lyons, a Blairite moderniser with electability and soundbites on his mind, whilst Greig is Jean Whittaker, his constituency agent who tries to keep his cares on his community, a Northern town worlds away from the posturing and pomp of Westminster.
Playwright James Graham has enjoyed a prolific year with his last play This House gaining five star reviews and an Olivier nod. Labour of Love represents his chance to explore the growing disconnect in the party through his own experiences growing up in Labour heartland Mansfield. The clash of New Labour and rebranding of the Center has led to traditional Labour areas experiencing a disturbance of long-held ideas and principles. Don't miss Graham's take on the chaos that comes with uniting differing ideals, philosophy and cultures at the grass roots level, away from the cameras and the speeches in the house of commons.

Humorous, heartwarming, remarkable!
James Graham seems to have all of the West End under his creative thumb, a monopoly that is proving no bad thing.
