What Is The Story?

Randle P McMurphy thinks he has made a brilliant move when he fakes insanity to avoid prison time. But he quickly revises his opinion when he ends up in a psychiatric hospital run by the merciless Nurse Ratched. But McMurphy refuses to be cowed, and sets upon a battle of minds with the authoritarian Ratched, slowly inspiring the other patients to believe more of themselves. Will McMurphy's singular determination lead to salvation, or destruction?
