Eastenders and Corrie star Michelle Collins stars alongside Joe Coen (Bad Jews) in this world premiere black comedy that throws two people from very different backgrounds together, by chance. When Gideon, a young, observant Jewish man from the other side of town is attacked, the kind-hearted Gina insists on taking him into her flat and caring for his injuries, shielding him from his muggers in the process. However as dusk falls, the Sabbath comes into place, forbidding him from travel. As the night darkens and the two get to know each other, sparks fly - however there is one problem; Gina's bedbound husband is just next door.

An examination into new connections and the loneliness felt by many Londoners, this funny and touching play goes behind closed doors and explores how fate can affect all of our lives. Written by actor-turned playwright Stewart Permutt, this new work is directed by Tim Stark, returning to the Park Theatre following his highly acclaimed production of Jonah and Otto in 2014.
