An all-black female cast tell the story of Cleo, a young woman living in London with Type 3 FGM, her Aunty Winnie, a proponent of the ritual whose faith and traditional upbringing is at odds with liberal Western society and Eve, a woman dealing with her own demons in the wake of FGM. When Cleo is raped by her husband, she makes up her mind to have reversal surgery, much to the despair of her family. When she is sent to her Aunty Winnie in an attempt to dissuade her, Cleo meets Eve and sparks fly between the two.
