Burlesque

Burlesque at Savoy Theatre

Why see Burlesque?

West End Premiere!

Welcome to Burlesque! The iconic 2010 film is shimmying from the screen to the stage in this brand-new musical adaption from original screenwriter Steve Atin. Set in a struggling Las Vegas burlesque lounge at the mercy of big-shot developers, the titular Burlesque is a titillating tale of rivalries, relationships, and revelry as witnessed by Sin City newbie Ali. With her own dreams of stardom propelling her forward, can her talents help to keep the club afloat?

Featuring songs from the movie's star Christina Aguilera (who also executive produces), SIA, and Dianne Warren, plus a creative team that includes direction and choreography from Nick Winston, it's time to dig out your stockings and feather boas and show a little more for this exciting West End premiere!

I was blown away! i dont know how to express well enough how much i LOVED this show...

The cast did an amazing job adapting and already great story to be stage worthy with even more catchy tunes ill have stuck in my head for days to come! Team did a wonderful job at reproseting and including on there casting and the talent across the cast was ... WOW! Todrick's added humor was first class and did a phenomonal job in the production as well as directing and choreographing! He is clearly and extreamly passionate and talented man! *Chefs kiss* Jess had some big shoes to follow but did an outstanding job and making the role her own with a voice that gives you goose bumps and the chemestry her and Paul's kept true to the banter of the orignal while still making it there own. The acrobatic work of the back up dancers was amazing to see and added some really nice flare to the performance allowing the tranitions to be enjoyable rather than just cast moving props. I am a little in love with this and wish i could go again! ... Read more
