Starring BRIT and Emmy nominated Sam Ryder as Jesus, with Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie choreographing, Tim Sheader directs the world-renowned sensation. Amen!
What's The Story?
A true spectacle filled with demanding musical numbers like Everything's Alright, Gethsemane and Superstar, Jesus Christ Superstar begins with the arrival of Jesus and his disciples in Jerusalem and explores his struggles as well as radical political themes not explored in the Bible. It also casts Judas as a tragic antihero and offers ironic allusions to modern life.

I WAS TOO YOUNG TO SEE THE FILM IN THE EARLY 70'S AND I HAVE SEEN CLIPS OF SONGS OVER THE YEARS, BUT THE SHOW ON SATURDAY 3 AUGUST 2024, WAS MAGNIFICENT, FABULOUS AND OMG FANTASTIC.
