The musical charting Earth and Humanity's toxic romance
After sellout runs in Edinburgh and critically acclaimed London run in 2025, the award-winning musical Hot Mess is back! Created by Jack Godfrey and Ellie Coote, the pairing who previously brought us 42 Balloons, the show is a quirky, rom-com-esque pop musical about Earth and Humanity's toxic romance. Lauded as a standout, hilariously fun take on the bin fire that is the current state of the world, don't miss its return to London!
When Earth and Humanity first met, things seemed to be going so well. Meeting Humanity initially helped Earth fully move on from her last major romance (the dinosaurs), and the pair seemed to be the perfect power couple. But as we all know, things soon turn toxic; Humanity begins to neglect Earth, and Earth finds herself offering more and more of her resources to keep Humanity happy - more than she can really give. An inventive take positioning the state of our world and our race as an unhealthy relationship, will this famous couple stand the test of time?
