Oscar nominee Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison star in Olivier Award-winning David Hare's new play on Victorian theatre at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Diving into the lives of two theatrical giants of the Victorian era, Grace Pervades is directed by Jeremy Herrin and is a fascinating true tale of the forging of British theatre.
Henry Irving and Ellen Terry: the two biggest stage stars of the nineteenth century. When Irving invites Terry to join his company at the Lyceum theatre, a chain of events is kicked off that will shape the future of the whole medium. Focusing on their working relationship, romantic entanglement, and the lives of Terry's children who continued to forge the path their mother started upon, Grace Pervades is a delightful mix of humour, pathos, and a true love letter to the theatre.
Youness Bouzinab, Giulia Innocenti, Tom Kanji, Harriet Leitch, Guy Paul, Chris Porter, Maggie Service, Saskia Strallen, and Kathryn Wilder, with Katherine Liley and Sam Perry.
