The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs is an uplifting musical returning after a sold-out premiere at Soho Theatre! Written by award winning playwright Iman Qureshi (The Funeral Director) and directed by the Olivier-nominated Hannah Hauer-King, its a joyous work described as warm, complex and riotously ambitious' by TimeOut.
The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs is a lesbian choir - the only one in the UK. They're a passionate but chaotic group determined to earn a spot performing on the Pride mainstage. Rehearsing in a run-down church hall under the leadership of their no-nonsense OWL (Older, Wiser Lesbian), as tensions rise and secrets surface, they soon discover that coming together is about more than just hitting the right notes.
