The Hunting of the Snark

The Hunting of the Snark at Vaudeville Theatre

Why see The Hunting of the Snark?

The acclaimed family musical transfers to the West End

Return to Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, in this original new family musical from the makers of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert! Coming to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre this July for the summer holidays, we join a cast of eccentric creatures who go on a quest across the sea to capture a rather strange character himself! The Boy, The Banker, The Butcher, The Baker, The Bellman and The Knitting Beaver are based on the poem by Carroll, and finally comes to life in an ultra-modern production for the ages, where fellow seafarers of all ages are welcome to come aboard!

With a fast-paced story, laughs a minute and an upbeat soundtrack from award-winning composer Gareth Cooper, five talented actors take the helm as they meet some familiar characters from the poem; the Bandersnatch, the Jub Jub Bird and the Boojum - all whilst squabbling amongst themselves. Having first premiered in Cardiff last summer, the West End engagement will precede a UK-wide tour!
