The Pulitzer Prize-winning play Liberation will arrive in London in 2027, following its critically acclaimed Broadway run and multiple major award nominations, including five Tony nods! Directed by Whitney White (If I Forget, Marvins Room) and written by Bess Wohl, the London production is confirmed, though specific dates, venue, and casting have yet to be announced. 

What's The Story?

Somewhere in 1970s Ohio, six highly determined women meet on a basketball court to discuss changing the world. Now in the present day, one of their daughters is in the process of trying to get a grasp on where their mother's mission fell apart. Described as 'provocative', this London premiere of Tony Award nominee Bess Wohl's (Grand Horizons) incredibly theatrical show asks us vital questions about legacy, friendship, and what the meaning of liberation truly is.
