The Rivalry Between Literary Giants

Multi-Olivier Award winner David Bedella (In The Heights) appears alongside rising stars Jamie Bogyo and Glenn Adamson in a concert presentation of this new glam rock musical about two of the greatest literary figures of all time. Stoker Wilde tells the story of the rivalry between Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde, written by Eric Rosen (book and lyrics) and musician Rodney Bush (music and lyrics) of the band Tony & The Kiki. Playing at the iconic and picturesque Wiltons Music Hall, this concert presentation of an exciting musical-in-development is helmed by Irish director Seimi Campbell.

What Is The Story?

Before Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde helped to define culture for generations to come with the gothic literary classics Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray respectively, they were simply two boys from Ireland trying to make a name for themselves in 19th century London. They mingled in London's arty circles, had secret queer experiences, and a held friendship turned creative rivalry that would cause them push the boundaries of literature to its limits. Stoker Wilde tells that often forgotten part of history which would influence storytelling forever.
