Red
Alfred Molina is a force of nature as Rothko: furious, intense, solid and never wavering in his belief of what it takes to be an artist.

Alfred x 2
2018 marks a welcome return for John Logan's Red, its first foray in London for nine years. Red charts the rise of the prolific impressionist painter Mark Rothko and his promising young assistant Ken as they take on his biggest challenge yet, painting a series of murals for the lavish Four Seasons restaurant. Starring Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch, this new production is directed by Michael Grandage.
Molina previously played Rothko in the play's 2009 debut at the Donmar Warehouse, opposite Eddie Redmayne. The show transferred across the pond the following year, winning a Tony for Best Play and one for Redmayne as Best Featured Actor.
Known for his distinctive voice and acting talents, Molina's film and theatre credits are quite varied, including the blockbuster hits 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and 'The Da Vinci Code' as well as the infamous 1980s 'Oklahoma' revival and 'Fiddler on the Roof'.
Since his role as Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter series, Alfred Enoch has enjoyed a career on both stage and screen. In addition to his wizarding past, he is a regular character on NBC's popular TV series 'How To Get Away With Murder'. His previous theatrical accolades include; Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse, Antigone at the National Theatre and Happy New at the Old Red Lion.
