Andrew Lloyd Webber's genius returns to the West End with his very own version of the classic Cinderella story! Now showing at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, this brand new musical turns the original tale on its head with a book by Emmy nominee Emerald Fennell (Killing Eve), lyrics by David Zippel (The Woman in White) and an original score by Lloyd Webber (of course). The leading lady of the moment, Carrie Hope Fletcher, stars as the titular Cinders.

Lloyd Webber announced the new production stating "I have long wanted to write my own version of Cinderella but could never find a take on the classic story that really grabbed me. Emerald Fennell has written something truly exciting and original, and the moment I read her outline I knew I'd found my latest collaborator..."

With direction from Laurence Connor (Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat) and Choreography from School of Rock's JoAnn Hunter Cinderella is one of the biggest new productions of the year!

What is the story?

Welcome to the picturesque town of Bellville, where the streets, and the citizens, are all gorgeous folk, each living a fairytale existence. Well not all of them. Resolutely rebelling against Bellville's picture-perfect persona is the town's brash outcast; Cinderella. This tough girl wants out of Bellville, especially now her only friend, Prince Sebastian is more into his Heir to the Throne Duties than their friendship. But as they grow apart, a new spark seems to keep them together...Add to that the Queen has ordered a Royal Wedding to keep the peasants happy, and it looks like the steadfastly unique loud-mouth is going to have to do something she never dreamed of - conform. With the help of The Godmother, can Cinders find true love and more importantly, true happiness in her own skin?
