C.S Lewis' magical world returns to London in this critically acclaimed adaptation of his beloved children's novel from Sally Cookson, following a successful UK tour. A captivating and innovative production that uses ingenious stagecraft in the place of flashy effects to tell the story of four evacuee siblings that discover an enchanted realm at the back of a dusty old wardrobe and the epic adventure that awaits. A perfect ticket for all the family, let The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe capture your imaginations!

Adventure awaits

After leaving London to escape the Blitz, the inquisitive Pevensey Children (Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter) are searching for adventure in the old country house of their guardian. When they discover a doorway to a mysterious wintry wonderland at the back of an old wardrobe they certainly seem to have found it.

But all is not as it seems in the icy land of Narnia, in fact, it's under the spell of the nefarious White Witch, whose tyranny keeps the world in perpetual winter - with Christmas never coming! Alongside the talking faun Mr Tumnus, the kind Mr and Mrs Beaver, and the majestic lion Aslan, the children prepare to battle the witch and restore Narnia to its former glory. Will the forces of good win out over this chilling evil? Book your tickets to find out!

What we thought

magical MODERN Beautiful

A magical piece of festive theatre, conscientiously adapted for modern audiences young and old

The Bridge Theatre is one of my favourite new venues in London. To me, a lot of its productions epitomise the spirit of London - they're creative and resourceful, exciting but not overtly extravagant, and make wonderful use of the smorgasboard of culture
