Nestled within Regent's Park, the zoo has been a major tourist attraction and a world leader in animal conservation since opening in 1847. Always looking to the future, the zoo prides itself on providing natural and humane enclosures for its inhabitants, many of whom are endangered or near extinct in the wild. Dive in and learn more about your favourite animals - perfect for all the family to take part in.
Today, the world's oldest scientific zoo is a zoological wonder with hundreds of animals from all all around the world. Marvel at the huge Penguin Beach, where you can get up close and personal with the penguins zooming happily around their massive enclosure. See if you can spot the residents at Gorilla Kingdom, and watch the tiger cubs explore their environment over in Tiger Territory, free from the danger of poachers. If you like your creepy crawlies, make sure to visit the state of the art B.U.G.S centre, where you can learn all about invertebrates, the creatures that underpin all life on earth.There's so much to see, we can't possibly name them all - so it's best you head on over to ZSL London Zoo for a truly WILD day out! Whatever you are looking for, from cute and cuddly to weird and wonderful the Zoo has an animal waiting for you to explore.

Most of the exhibits are wheelchair accessible, and wheelchairs can be hired at the main entrance for use during your visit.
