Benjamin Button Returns!

Award winning actor John Dagleish (Sunny Afternoon, Sylvia, Harlequinade) will star as Benjamin Button!

Following its critically acclaimed run at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant last year, with Olivier and Tony winners Jamie Parker and Molly Osbourne, alongside a talented ensemble, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button returns in 2024 to play at London's Ambassadors Theatre from 10 October 2024. Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story, the production tells the story of Benjamin Button, who experiences the unique affliction of ageing backwards.

What Is The story?

Growing up in a small fishing town Benjamin Button has always been an outsider. Born as an old man and increasingly getting younger, Button dreams of a life filled with adventure and love. When he meets a local girl called Elowen Keene Button's wants can finally be realised, but with war looming will Button get to live out his dream?

What we thought

INTIMATE Heartfelt beautiful

In a vivid, funny, achingly moving, and unmissable production, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button grabs you with everything it has, sweeping you off your feet in a whirlwind

A charismatic ensemble creates theatrical alchemy in this charming folktale with shades of Once and Come From Away.
