A New Staging Of The Gothic Classic
The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde first captivated readers when author Robert Louis Stevenson published his gothic novel in 1886. It has since become a cornerstone of the horror canon, inspiring many subsequent adaptations, including British playwright David Edgar's take on the classic. Don't miss the spine-tickling terror as it engulfs Kingston's Rose Theatre stage as part of its brand new 2018/19 season.
The twisted tale stars Quadrophenia actor Phil Daniels as both the well to do Dr Jekyll and sinister Mr Hyde. During an experiment gone awry, the good doctor accidentally unleashes his inner demon in the form of the monstrous Mr Hyde. As his alter-ego unleashes hell on the streets of London, Jekyll must race against the clock to find a cure for his peculiar ailment before he becomes Mr Hyde forever.
